This is cool! Obviously not a fan of white sofas since you want something inviting to sit on without worrying about staining it, but love the round table, which is different from what we've been looking at and the two leather chairs at the top. This could be an interesting furniture arrangement for you in the living room! Are you keeping those two shelving units on either side of the fireplace mantle in the family room?

The contrast is light, but here they painted the fireplace wall and the cabinets next to the fireplace to bring more color on this wall.
