An absolutely stunning room Rebecca. - Is that the moon pebble coffee table by Orche in Clerkenwell? I also recognise the chandelier as one of theirs?

The art piece (a flower) on the wall. - Dear Rebecca, As everyone says, this room is absolutely stunning. I was wondering if you would not mind telling me where the piece on the wall came from? I have a similar wall and I'd like to put something other than a picture/painting there. With thanks Jane

Hi - I designed the sofa, adapted from a classic Chesterfield style and it was made by The Sofa & Chair Company, London. The chairs are by BRABBU purchased via UniQue on the Fulham Road, London. Chair fabric was Otello by Nobilis and the sofa fabric Teale by Weymms. Warm regards, Rebecca.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Ruth Garner added this to How to Choose Your Perfect Living Room Armchair
Weigh up different fabricsWith a little love and attention, an armchair should last for years, but the type of fabric your choose will make a difference to its longevity. Choose a fabric that’s right for your lifestyle – if you have pets, for instance, plush velvet may not be the most practical choice. If you have small children, washable loose covers are a sensible option, whereas in a more grown-up room, a fabulous fabric could be the perfect finishing touch.Read 10 reasons why you don’t always need a three-piece suite
Lara Sargent added this to Decorating: Why Velvet is the Perfect Winter Warmer
Maximise the opulence Richly coloured velvet is both vibrant and chic. Don’t be afraid to mix and match deep teal with pale amethyst, dark magenta or even a hint of full-bodied ruby if you wish. Keep the backdrop neutral and sparse and let the hues do the talking.
Karen Wilson added this to Decorating: 10 Ways to Work an Iconic Chesterfield Sofa into Your Home
Choose a corner designTry a modern take on the chesterfield with a sociable corner unit that makes the most of every inch of space. Echo its curves in other furniture, such as a round coffee table or ottoman, and curvaceous chairs. Let your choice of fabric dictate the rest of the room. Here, the plush teal velvet exudes opulence, so the oversized mirror and glittering chandelier are a must.
